Send from your own domain.
Proposals can go out from an address at your own domain. Add the domain, publish three DNS records, and let it verify.

The steps below are the whole procedure either way. A recording here never carries a step the text does not.
Find the Proposal sender card
It sits under the brand form on the Brand settings page. Until a domain of yours verifies, proposals go out from a neutral address with replies pointed at your agency inbox, which is why sending works on day one.
Add your domain
Type the domain your agency already sends mail from and press Add domain. The card then lists the DNS records to publish, with the status of each one.
Publish the records
Add them at whoever hosts your DNS. Publishing these records does not change where your mail is delivered: Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 keep working exactly as they do now.
Let it verify
Press Check now to re-read the records, or leave it alone; the status refreshes on its own about once an hour. DNS changes often take a while to spread, so a record that is correct can still read as waiting for a bit.
Set the local part
Once the domain verifies you choose what comes before the at sign, so proposals go out as something like proposals at your own domain. If that domain ever stops verifying, sending falls back to the neutral address instead of failing.
