Anyone on the team
Send your first proposal.
From an empty Proposals list to a sent link: build the proposal, review every number, then email it or copy the link yourself.
Screen recording
Not recorded yet. When it is, it will show one proposal from New proposal through review, save and send, ending on the activity row that records the client opening it.
The steps below are the whole procedure either way. A recording here never carries a step the text does not.
Start a proposal
Proposals, then New proposal. Nothing on this screen reaches a client; a proposal is only ever sent by the send step at the end.
Get the quote into the form
Paste the labeled quote text and press Fill form from paste, or upload the carrier PDF and press Fill form from PDF. Typing the fields by hand works too and is sometimes faster for a one-line personal auto quote.
Reading a carrier quote has its own guide, including what the reader does when the document does not say something.
Review every field
This is the step the product is built around. Anything the quote did not state stays blank rather than being filled with a plausible value, so a blank is a question for you, not a defect. Add the coverage lines, premiums and payment terms, and check the client email address if you plan to send from here.
Save it
Create proposal writes the record and mints the client link. The link is an unguessable token, not a numbered id, so it cannot be found by counting up from someone else's.
Send it
The Send section carries both routes: copy the client link and send it however you already talk to that client, or press the email button when a client address is on file. Email goes out under your agency name with replies going to your inbox.
If the email does not go through, the proposal is still saved and the link still works. You lose the send, never the record.
Watch it move
Activity on the proposal records each view, every question the client sends back, and acceptance with the name they typed. The status badge on the Proposals list tracks the same thing at a glance.
